How to Integrate
It's Easy

FIO Protocol is powered by Layer 1 FIO Chain purpose-build to help wallets hide the complexity of blockchain transactions across all blockchains, been built with many innovative features

Basic Integration

Resolve FIO Handles

The primary way you can integrate FIO, is to let your users use a FIO Handle (e.g. vitalik@safu) instead of a blockchain public address (e.g. 0xd8dA6BF26964aF9D7eEd9e03E53415D37aA96045).

Behind the scenes use a simple REST API call to get the associated public address on a specific blockchain for specific token:

Send this:
curl --request POST \ --url \ --header 'accept: application/json' \ --header 'content-type: application/json' \ --data ' { "fio_address": "vitalik@safu", "chain_code": "ETH", "token_code": "ETH" }
Get this:
{ "public_address": "0xd8dA6BF26964aF9D7eEd9e03E53415D37aA96045" }

Integration through Linking

Register FIO Handles

Allow your users to register a FIO Handle by simply linking to the FIO App, which is a web-based non-custodial wallet, that supports all things FIO. We can co-brand it for you and even customize the domains, e.g. bob@yourbrand. If you qualify, the FIO Handles can be free to your users and you can still generate revenue.
